We develop, finance and operate large-scale energy storage systems (ESS). We can do this cost-effectively and without risk. Our unique business case allows us to accelerate the energy transition, together. Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience gained in the electricity market since 1995, we’re able to offer our clients the right contracts, technology and warranties. 

Here’s how we tackle an energy storage project

During this phase, we consult with all potential stakeholders. That’s how together, we arrive at the best integration of our systems. Fit with the landscape, choice of location and bringing together municipal and provincial authorities, landowners and grid operators are essential in this.  

We  make sure that all of the contracts dovetail together perfectly. That brings technology, financing and the client together to achieve financial close. The green light for the next step.  

Construction and operation of the ESS takes place in this phase. 

 

  • Working together with our EPC partners, we complete the integration of proven technology. Timing is essential here.  
  • Once the battery energy storage systems (BESS) are up and running, our clients use the capacity for congestion management, load balancing, trading on the electricity markets, portfolio management, black start and reactive power.
